Fuse33 Makerspace
A shared workshop that transcends the conventional notion of a makerspace

In this hands-on certification class, you will learn how to safely set up and operate the laser welder at Fuse33. The course covers core welding techniques, proper machine handling, and how to adjust parameters in the control menu for different materials and material thicknesses.

Participants will complete a small project designed to build proficiency in multiple welding positions and angles. You will also use additional metal shop tools to clean and finish your welds, ensuring you leave with practical, shop-ready skills and confidence across equipment.

Successful completion of this class is required to gain independent access to the Laser Welder at Fuse33.
