Community at Fuse33
Our makers make our space!
Fuse33 Makerspace is a dynamic community where creativity and collaboration flourish. Members from various backgrounds — ranging from seasoned artisans to budding creators — come together to share knowledge, skills, and inspiration. This collective energy drives innovation, turning individual ideas into impactful projects.
Members of Fuse33 not only work on their personal projects but also create meaningful impacts within the broader community. Many members have turned their passion into purpose, leading initiatives that benefit local organizations including working on interactive art installations for public events like Freezer Burn, showcasing the power of making to enrich the community. Many of their successes can be found under Impact Stories!
Adding to the vibrant ecosystem is the Artist in Residence Program, bringing in talented artists from various disciplines to work and create within the makerspace. This program not only provides artists with access to professional tools and a supportive environment but also enriches the community by exposing members to new artistic processes and techniques. Each residency culminates in a group exhibition and one artist is awarded a six-week paid internship with the International Avenue Arts & Culture Centre (IAACC).
