General FAQ
A makerspace is a collaborative workspace where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. It provides access to tools, technology, and resources for a variety of projects, from woodworking and metalworking to electronics and 3D printing.
Take a tour around our space! This is the best way to learn about our tools, classes, and the International Avenue Arts & Culture Centre artist in residence program.
Fuse33 Makerspace is open to people of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced makers. We have a shared workshop space ideal for anyone who needs a place to work or wants a community to collaborate with on personal or for profit projects. Our members work on a wide range of projects, from personal hobbies, to fabrication and prototyping for small businesses.
We recognize that adults often have fewer opportunities to engage in creative activities, and we’re here to change that. Our community is designed for those 16 and older, ensuring a mature, focused, and inspiring atmosphere where your creativity can truly flourish.
Whether you’re an artist, a tradesperson, entrepreneur, hobbyist, crafter or just someone wanting to learn some new skills, Fuse33 is a fun community of passionate makers who are excited to explore and try new things.
No prior experience is necessary! We offer classes and staff assistance to help you learn how to use the equipment and tools.
Absolutely! Fuse33 is designed for you to work on personal or collaborative projects. Occasionally, there may be community projects you can participate in too.
Members can bring their own material, but ask a Fuse33 representative anyway — we may have it available for sale, though we don’t have a lot of material in stock.
